The house was also very clean, and well equipped.
The real surprise, however, was sky tv cbeebies for the kiddies and xfactor for the wife.
We had lamb and fries, which we ate on the nearby beach.
They are amazing lots and lots of golden sand.
Our two year old had great fun playing in the pool on and around the various rocks on the beach.
The beaches at surtainvile and carteret were our favourites.
So much character, and lots of places to eat crepes.
The four of us had a lovely time, and would not hesitate to recommend this house to anyone looking for the peace of rural normandy.
Ps: they also have a second house located next to this one, which is also very impressive so if this one is not availble for your chosen holiday dates, then maybe the other one is.

The property is terrific very clean, well equipped and spacious with everything provided, for grandparents and babies too even a swing for babies in the lovely large garden.
The location is idyllic with a vast empty beach at surtainville 5 minutes away and shops and a variety of restaurants within easy reach.
One of our more energetic family members ran to the local shop at surtainville each morning to purchase the fresh croissants for breakfast!
The welcome was as we expected from roger and sandra who think of everything to help make the holiday as comfortable, enjoyable and interesting as possible.
Not knowing the region, the information given was most helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to bricquebec market and found several enjoyable cafes and restaurants in our travels around the picturesque peninsular.
We found the whole experience a pleasure with quiet, good roads, wonderful beaches, really interesting places and towns to visit and above all a lovely, tranquil cottage and garden to return to.
But enchanted by the whole setting.
The position of the property gives you a perfect base to explore normandy in every direction, which we have taken full advantage of during our times there.
On the days we simply wanted to chill, there are lovely walks from the front door, or, better still, enjoy a short drive to nearby villages or sections of the wonderful coastal route.
This is gem of a holiday home!
